Awesome way to kick start the year and get us local businesses excited about submitting award nominations. I know the market is slow and times are tight but we are survivors. We're Territory tough. We adapt and overcome. Building and construction in Darwin is not over yet. Not by a long shot.
We did it. It actually happened. We are officially all moved into our brand spanking new showroom! I have come into work on the weekend, both days, to work in silence mostly (sorry kids, Mum loves you but it is good for you to hang out with Dad) and to soak up the atmosphere.
As seen in the NT News. A humbling article about Northern Stone, celebrating our 10 years of being in business.
Panic subsided when we finished setting everything up and started to greet our guests. People were blown away and not in that fake social nicety way. Everyone was genuinely loving the space, especially the unique back lit stone island bench and furniture that Lach had worked tirelessly to create, despite my initial hesitations haha! People mingled, made new friends, connected with old ones and celebrated in our excitement.
Exciting times! The successful NTG Home Improvement Scheme is back. We are registered again and looking forward to helping people transform their homes! Small vanity, complete bathroom makeover, kitchen re-design or new outdoor BBQ area. Whatever your renovation dream is, we can help make it a reality. Contact our friendly team today on (08) 8911 0401 and be sure to visit our new showroom, opening next week!
This new space is going to be a little piece of design heaven, with lots of colour samples, cabinetry colour swatches, business card galore of local tradies and businesses we love to support! I can't wait!
I'm nervously excited, as we haven't done any form of renovating since 2014 so it may take me a little while to get my groove back with painting walls....
Throw in the fact we will be raising money to beat women's cancers whilst playing games and eating delish finger food. I'm pretty much salivating at the thought!
I'm the first to admit that I have zero artistic skills. Thanks to technology and advancement of design software, I no longer have to try and sketch a stick figure or shape to try and explain the idea to someone and bring a creative idea to life. Hooray!
We get house envy, budget envy and have a really unrealistic idea of how a time frame comes together for a renovation or build. Or maybe that is just me...
